Yes I'm apart of the live in Midtown incentive.. I contacted midtown and they will canceled all checks and will be doing an investigation.. She also said if I wanted to move somewhere else let them know that those funds will transfer... LET'S HAVE A MEETING!!!!!

If anybody knows Darryl as more than just the guy who doesn't deliver on his promises, he sure might be able to contribute to our knowledge base. See if you can determine whether he might share anything of value, or if he was just a retarded patsy. It's hard to believe all of this would be over his head, but then again... I def. agree a face-to-face tenants meeting is a must at this point!!!!! Can everyone who is following along with this board start to give some personal availability information? This way we can set up one or two meetings that everyone can attend.
I'm suggesting....maybe even as early as Sunday....as people usually have this day off work. We can meet somewhere close - or even at someone's unit in the building.
A face-to-face will help a LOT. Also - I have been talking to local lawyers....that is where a lot of the previous info I listed came from. But, it would do us good to come together and speak with someone as a group. Maybe at the tenant meeting - we can find a time that people would also be available to do a face-to-face with a lawyer? I think that is honestly the next step.....if Boydell management continues to try to intimidate and commit fraud....we are left with no other choice.
One of the things my close neighbors and I have also discussed is "setting up another individual meeting" with this Sarah fool - and/or this Chris idiot - and then.........
......have AS MANY TENANTS as we can join this meeting.
Let them think they are dealing with one person........then 20+ disgruntled tenants will show up. At that point, they will KNOW we are organizing, sharing information, and that WE MEAN BUSINESS.
They will have NO CHOICE but to deal with us all at once.
And hopefully they will finally get the picture that if they continue this fraudulent behavior.....there WILL BE FURTHER CONSEQUENCES FOR THEM.
How many people out there would be available anytime on SUNDAY, 7/29/12?
What time frame would work best?

-Also: THIS IS IMPORTANT. The building management may have received a copy of the notice sent to everyone. This means that they could be reading some of these posts. This is not for sure - and honestly in a way if they are reading how serious everyone is - I really feel it could only work in our favor. HOWEVER - if you wish to remain anonymous - you can hide all your info through "PROFILE" area at top of page. I wanted people to know - just in case this means you would rather become more anonymous. But please DO NOT LET THIS DETER YOU! DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED BY ANY OF THE TACTICS THESE PEOPLE ARE USING. They ran this building for years knowing it was illegal and that at any time it could be shut down and its tenants made homeless....at this point, knowing we are organizing is making them worry they will not be able to get through all this without consequences. BUT - THEY SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES THEY WERE OPENING THEMSELVES UP TO IN 2007 WHEN THEY FILED TO HAVE THIS BUILDING ZONED FROM A WAREHOUSE TO APARTMENTS AND THAT REQUEST WAS DENIED BY CITY. From that point on......when they rented out units and accepted payments.......they were willfully committing fraud. On top of knowing this was an illegal apartment with no certificate of compliance, they also did nothing but collect rent then neglect the building and deny the tenants' rights to live in a safe, clean and habitable place - letting us deal with ridiculous situations from insanely loud fire alarms going off for half the day to open sewage throughout the basement FOR WEEKS & WEEKS. THESE PEOPLE WILL NOT STOP ENGAGING IN ILLEGAL ACTIVITY. Until they DO - we MUST stand up for our rights! Do not be discouraged!!!!!! Soon we will meet face-to-face and discuss what our options are in moving forward. STAY STRONG! YOU HAVE DONE NOTHING WRONG!
